We can never get enough of a good joke that brightens our day, and this one is sure to do just that. It’s a story about a serious topic, like death and graves, but with a delightful twist that made me laugh out loud.
I’m not sure if you’ve heard it before, but it’s still just as funny today!
We all know that some women marry much older men with the prospect of inheritance in mind, and the woman in this story is a classic example.
She was known for her weekly visits to her husband’s grave, where she would water the flowers lovingly.
Yet, whenever she left the cemetery, she always walked away with her back turned.
A young gentleman who observed her routine every week couldn’t resist striking up a conversation.
“I must commend you on the respect you show your late husband. I noticed you never turn your back as you leave—that’s truly admirable!” he said.
The woman looked him squarely in the eyes and responded with a reply that left him utterly speechless:
“Well, sir, my husband always used to tell me that I have a behind that could raise the dead from their graves. I don’t want to take any chances!”
