Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Have Steamy PDA Moment Inside Oscars 2025 After She Skips the Red Carpet
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are celebrating the last of awards season in style.
The couple, who’ve been linked since April 2023, have been making the rounds at many shows, including the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs and the Berlin Film Festival. And on March 2, they showed out in style for the Academy Awards, where Chalamet is nominated for Best Actor for A Complete Unknown.
Jenner, 27, wore a skin-baring Miu Miu gown featuring an abs-forward cutout framed with straps that attached her plunging bra top and floor-length skirt. The entire design was decked out in beaded details which complemented her dazzling Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Her appearance comes amid the sudden death of her hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero. Jenner’s makeup artist Ariel Tejada shared on Instagram that Jenner and her glam team had a “hard” time getting ready ahead of the Oscars.
“Today was really hard without you, but I know how excited you were for Ky to attend the Oscars. I felt your energy guiding us today. I hope we did you proud🤍 we love you forever” Tejada shared in tribute to Guerrero, alongside an image of Jenner in her ensemble.
Chalamet, 29, wore a custom Givenchy butter yellow suit that consisted of a collared button-up shirt, double-breasted blazer and trousers splashed in a bright pastel hue. Black pointed-toe shoes completed the look.
His stylist Taylor McNeill, didn’t confirm whether or not Chalamet’s concluding awards season look was a tribute to Bob Dylan, whom the actor has been referencing plenty as a nod to his film A Complete Unknown, for which he’s nominated Best Actor. However, considering Chalamet’s recent sartorial track record, we wouldn’t be surprised if the legendary musician was referenced in the bold look.
Although Jenner skipped the carpet, the two packed on the PDA inside. Photos of the pair inside the Dolby Theatre showed them getting cozy and kissing, as well as greeting other attendees and taking selfies. In a video shared by The Hollywood Reporter, they can be seen holding hands.
Chalamet is nominated alongside Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice).
This is his second Academy Award appearance following his Best Actor nomination for Call Me By Your Name in 2018, making Chalamet, 29, the youngest two-time Best Actor nominee since James Dean. Compared to his all-white suit when he first walked the carpet at 22, Chalamet took his outfit in a different direction this year.
In January, a source told PEOPLE that Jenner was “having fun supporting” Chalamet during awards season.
“She enjoys attending the events with him. She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all,” the insider said, adding that Jenner was “really making an effort” to be by her boyfriend’s side.
Chalamet’s mom Nicole Flender joined him for his first Oscar nomination seven years ago and this year at the Screen Actors Guild Awards where he took home the statue, and he began his Best Actor acceptance speech by thanking her.
“I was not expecting this at all,” he said. “I’ll start by thanking my mother who I’m here with tonight. She has been working at Actors Equity for 40 years, the stage union.”
Chalamet has been making headlines with his Bob Dylan-inspired looks throughout award season. His custom GapStudio outfit for the Academy Awards Nominees dinner in Los Angeles on Feb. 25 was a nod to the iconic singer-songwriter.
“This look transcends fashion. It symbolizes heritage, legacy, and cultural evolution,” Gap Inc.’s executive vice president and creative director, Zac Posen, shared in a press release. “In the 1960s, Bob Dylan dropped an American anthem with Like a Rolling Stone, and by 1969, Gap was selling jeans and records in its first store —two moments that shaped and bridged culture gaps for generations to come.”
At the SAG Awards, Chalamet wore a neon green Chrome Hearts button-up paired with a leather blazer and slim trousers. His stylist Taylor McNeill revealed the connection to Dylan, posting a photo on Instagram of the songwriter dressed at a past appearance in a similar green shirt and black suit.
A Complete Unknown is also nominated up for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Costume Design and Best Sound.
Chalamet’s costars Monica Barbaro and Edward Norton are each nominated at the Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress and Actor, and James Mangold earned the nomination for Best Director.
