Stepmom delivers special wedding vows to four-year-old – his reaction breaks our hearts

As expected, when attending the wedding of US Marine Sergeant Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan, the guests were all looking forward to a fun time but little did they know what they would witness. witness one of the most memorable scenes here.
As Leehan began reciting her vows, she also prepared some for her stepson Gage. The sweet boy was so excited to see his dad get married and it was clear that he not only approved of his future mom but was also really happy with his dad’s choice.
As his small eyes stared at Leehan, she turned to Gage and began reading her vows to him.
Her speech was so moving that everyone in attendance said ‘awww.’ Most people shed tears of joy, but it was Gage’s sweet reaction that stole the show’s attention .
As he continued to listen to his stepmother’s words, he burst into tears and wrapped his arms around her.
“I want you to be safe, and to try your hardest and to be a good person,” Leehan said. She then said, “Don’t cry baby,” because she noticed that the emotional moment was too much for that child to bear.
“The last thing thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy,” Leehan went on to say. “You are so extremely smart, handsome, and kind to others. You have helped shape me into the woman that I am today and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.”
After gathering their emotions, the couple proceeded to share their vows.
Immediately after the memorable ceremony, the newlyweds are said to have immediately resumed active duty. They postponed their honeymoon because they both had to return to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
