Unfortunately, Lisa Marie Presley struggled to find that fortitude a few years ago, when her son, Benjamin Keough, died. As a result, she devised a novel approach, as Page Six reports.
Most people believe that parents should not have to bury their children, despite differing on other issues.
The natural order is straightforward. We grow up and age with our parents by our sides, but we also know that there will come a day when we must say our final goodbyes.
On the contrary, no parent dares to consider losing their child.
Even on the most painful days, you find the inner strength to get through them.
Lisa Marie Presley experienced this horrible predicament only a few years ago.
She had already felt loss at the age of nine when she had to say goodbye to her loving father, Elvis Presley, who di:ed at the age of 42.
Then came a life of pressure, broken marriages, and a painkiller addiction.
However, the most devastating sadness struck her in 2020. Benjamin Keough, her only son, passed away at the age of 27 from a gunshot wound that was subsequently proved to be self-inflicted.
Lisa Marie herself di:ed a few years later, in 2023, at the age of 54.

She found it difficult to say goodbye to Benjamin, so she decided to keep him at her house for two months. She wasn’t sure whether to bur:y him at Graceland or in Hawaii.
Lisa Marie shares that she made sure the room temperature was always kept at 55 degrees to preserve the body and that she became so accustomed to seeing and caring for him.
Her daughter Riley has also commented on this period, sharing an absurd moment.
Lisa Marie and Riley had discussed commemorating Benjamin, and Lisa had copied one of his tattoos. She also specified that the tattoo be placed exactly the same. When the tattoo artist asked for a picture of Benjamin’s tattoos, Lisa Marie said she could show him instead.
“I believe that the narrative may, on paper, appear absolutely wild and ludicrous. But I — my mom was just being herself,” Keough explained. “She wasn’t a crazy lady.”
