It may be a living nightmare when rats invade our house or the places we frequent. As if being around such unclean creatures wasn’t bad enough, they may induce major health issues. We provide a strategy based on three basic ingredients—peanuts, sugar, and a candle—if you are seeking an efficient DIY approach to rid yourself of these rodents.

Rats are a nuisance, but they also pose a health risk to people due to the illnesses they carry.

Leptospirosis, bubonic plague, hantavirus, and Lassa fever are among the many illnesses that these rats may spread.

Furthermore, the contamination of food and surfaces by their urine and excrement further increases the chance of developing these illnesses. This is why it’s so important to never let rats inside our house.

Rat control at home: everything you need”

  • 2-Tuberspoons of Peanut
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
  • only one candle

Get Ready Step By Steps:

  • To make a “powder,” crush a candlestick.
  • Pulverize the peanuts in a different basin until they resemble coarse sand.
  • Combine the ground peanuts with the tablespoon of sugar and stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Blend the two mixtures together until they are completely combined, then add the ground candle.
  • After you have the mixture, put it in a container and set it out in areas where you have seen rats or where you think they could go.

These mice are very attracted to the sugar and peanut mixture, but they will die from the ground candle.

In order to keep our house in a healthy condition, rat control is a must. This do-it-yourself approach will not only get rid of those pesky pests, but it will do it cheaply and safely, without using any chemicals that may be dangerous to us or our pets.

Although this procedure is successful, it should not be used in lieu of cleaning and preventative efforts to eliminate the possibility of rats.
