As for Valor, he was officially retired from service, but his journey was far from over. Maya adopted him, and together, they traveled the country, sharing Silas’s story — and Valor’s — inspiring a movement that called for transparency, accountability, and trust between communities and their protectors.

Sometimes, in the quiet moments before sleep, Valor would sit by the window, staring out at the night sky, ears twitching. Somewhere out there, he knew, more shadows lurked. And if they dared to rise again, Valor — the dog who refused to give up — would be ready.

Because loyalty never dies.
And neither does the fight for the truth.
