Buying vintage and antiques from thrift stores and flea markets is a great hobby of mine. I enjoy the mystery of not knowing what I might uncover.
Of course, the objective is to discover something truly exceptional and potentially priceless that can still be purchased for pennies on the dollar.
If you’re lucky, you’ll locate some amazing deals and end up with a profit.
Yet few people are as fortunate as Randy Guijarro.
Randy spent two dollars at a garage sale on an antique photo album full of black-and-white snapshots of family and friends.
Despite his lack of confidence in their monetary value, he picked them up because of their interesting appearance.
After returning home, he sorted through them and found that the majority of the photos were useless.
But then he saw that one of the photographs included someone he recognized…
Billy the Kid was one of the most infamous outlaws of the Wild West. Billy the Kid, or William H. Bonney, his legal name, was k*lled by a bullet when he was only 23 years old in 1881.
Uncovering an image of him is extremely unusual, making any picture of him priceless.
Randy’s two dollars were well spent on the picture that became a priceless classic.
He made millions on the sale of the shot.
What a fantastic bargain at the thrift store or antique mall!
