I love you my daughter
Wasn’t it yesterday that you were a baby in my arms?
I looked at your precious face and wondered where life would take you.
Today, I look at the person you’ve become strong, kind, thoughtful, caring and optimistic…
I relaize that the dreams I held in my heart for you are alive in your beautiful spirit.
My Daughter, I look at you and I do not see the passage of time. I see my little girl playing dress up, running through the yard, playing on a swing. Time can change many things, but you must understand that to me you will always be my little girl. I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart.
If I could give my daughter three things, it would be the confidence to always know herself worth, the strength to chase her dreams and the ability to know how truly, deeply loved she is.
I am proud of you and I love you with all my heart.
