David Hasselhoff Is a Grandfather! Daughter Taylor Welcomes Baby Girl Called London: ‘Crying Grandad’
David Hasselhoff is a grandfather!
The beloved TV star’s daughter Taylor Hasselhoff-Fiore, 34, has welcomed her first baby, a girl called London, with her husband Madison Fiore.
Announcing the exciting news on his Instagram on Aug. 13, David, 72, shared a snap of himself cradling the little one in a pink blanket in what appeared to be a hospital room.
“A crying Grandad. She’s perfect WOW ❤️ I am so blessed,” the Baywatch and Knight Rider alum captioned the post.
“She is a little beauty 💕,” Hasselhoff’s wife Hayley Roberts added in the comments section.
Taylor later shared the news on her own Instagram account, posting several photos of her daughter as she revealed her name.
“London Hasselhoff Fiore 👼🏻 our Angel baby girl was born happy and healthy at 3:16pm on August 11th, 2024 at just under 8lbs 😍,” Taylor’s post began.
“Truly the best day of our lives. We never knew you could be THIS happy 🥹. Baby London, Mommy & Daddy are so excited for this journey together and we can’t wait to show you the world 🌍🩷🎀👼🏻,” the Aaron Kirman Group luxury real estate agent added.
“Angel baby 👼🏼❤️🤝,” Taylor’s husband Madison wrote in the comments section.
In the shots, London could be seen snoozing under a pink personalized blanket and wearing a pink hat as she lay alongside a wooden plaque reading, “London Hasselhoff Fiore.”
Other photos showed Taylor cradling her daughter in her arms just moments after her birth and Madison having a daddy-daughter moment with London.
Taylor and Madison announced they were expecting their first baby together in February in a joint Instagram post.
“Finally able to share the most amazing new chapter of our lives with the world!!! August 2024 will soon become our favorite month 🐯,” the duo wrote. Eeeeekkkk, over the moon is an understatement! Can’t wait to be a mama!! So excited to grow our family🖤#comingsoon #MadforTay.”
The post featured a compilation of clips, including Taylor telling her husband the news for the first time as she handed him a positive pregnancy test.
The couple’s happy news comes after their February 2023 wedding. The pair said “I do” at Ethereal Gardens in Escondido, Calif. in front of 186 guests.
Taylor was walked down the aisle by her famous dad to “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve, something she told PEOPLE was one of the most emotional moments of the nuptials.
“I think the reason I started crying is when I saw my dad, because he was just such a big light in my life,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “He’s also just so supportive and so loving, and I know how much he cares about my wellbeing and my happiness. So it was just an honor to be able to walk down with him and see how happy he was for me to start this new journey.”
