1. Just when you think it doesn’t get any better than this…
“One day as you’re brushing the hair out of your little boy’s eyes or wiping the jelly off his sticky fingers, he looks up and gives you a smile that lights him up from the inside out, and you think to yourself… ‘It doesn’t get any better than this.’ But it does… Because he grows up and becomes a good man and a good friend… and his smile still lights up your world. I love you so much, son!”
2. Little boys can test your patience, but they will melt your heart!
“Little boys can test your patience, run you ragged, and make you want to pull your hair out. But they will also melt your heart with just one look, and make you wonder how you ever existed before them.” – Katie Bingham Smith
3. There’s so much more to our boys than what we see
“There is more to a boy than what his mother sees. There is more to a boy than what his father dreams. Inside every boy lies a heart that beats. And sometimes it screams, refusing to take defeat. And sometimes his father’s dreams aren’t big enough, and sometimes his mother’s vision isn’t long enough. And sometimes the boy has to dream his own dreams and break through the clouds with his own sunbeams.” ― Ben Behunin, Remembering Isaac: The Wise and Joyful Potter of Niederbipp
I love this one because it’s a good reminder to let our children dream their own dreams. To never hold them back or limit them to a life based on our own dreams and expectations. Give them a chance to soar and they’ll surprise you!

10. When we have faith in our sons, their journey becomes much easier
