Life can be stressful and complicated, but it doesn’t need to be. Life hacks make everything easier, much more manageable, and even more fun. This is especially true for us women. Many people find themselves reading life hacks and thinking that they don’t work or that they are overly complicated, but that’s not an issue with this list.

  1. Keep Headphones from Unraveling

2. Use a straightener for more than just your locks

If you need your clothes straightened in a hurry, but don’t have an iron, use a hair straightener. It works well on collars and is small enough to get to the spaces between buttons that an iron has trouble reaching.

A good tip with this hack is to be gentle and don’t get too rough with it. The best part of this is that a straightener is portable and doesn’t have the weight of an iron, making it easier and quicker.

Find The Common Organizing Mistakes

3. Break-in your new shoes in just minutes

Anyone who has had new shoes, whether flats or heels, knows you need to break in your new shoes so you don’t hurt your feet or cut them open. The solution to this problem is straightforward.

Use socks and a blowdryer. Place the socks over your feet and flex your toes while you have your hairdryer blasting your feet with hot hair. If you do this for around two minutes, you should notice a difference. Wait until the shoes have cooled before taking your feet out. This usually takes about two minutes.

4. Hot water can save your makeup

Mascara has a habit of clumping, and when this happens, it gets everywhere. And for some, this means a poke to the eye. Instead of having a painful experience or getting frustrated with your makeup, run your mascara brush under hot water. This trick is literally a miracle worker.

You should be able to tell that it is un-clumping right away. That means better makeup for you, and you don’t have to run out and buy another one!

Here are some Annoying Beauty Problems & Easy Ways to Fix Them

5. White wine can take the sting out of the red

Imagine this. You are at a party and having a glass of red wine when suddenly someone bumps into you, and you spill wine all over your shirt. What do you do? Neutralize it with white wine. White wine has an enzyme that can remove the stain, making it very easy to clean. All you need to do for this to work is to pour white wine on the stain, then blot it using a cloth that has been dampened. Dry the clothing after the stain is gone, and you are as good as new.

6. How to Tidy Up Your Desk Cables

Do your desk cables constantly become tangled and messy? Are you always trying to find the right cable? Put an end to these problems with this simple life hack, and use binder clips to organize your cables.

7. Keep your boots upright

Boots never want to stay how we need them, but you can keep them upright by using pool noodles. Any person who does DIY projects will tell you that pool needles are an excellent resource for pretty much anything. Put the pool noodles in your boots, and you will see them stand tall. If you don’t want the end sticking out, trim it down to size afterward and take care of wobbly noodles. If the ends don’t bother you, fold the top over into the next boot.

8. Toothpaste Can Cure Damaged Nails

Our nails can yellow due to many different causes, and it’s a good idea to know how we can fix this. Toothpaste is what we are going to need to achieve this.

If you add a few drops of lemon juice in with it, you will notice a special effect. Lemon juice has an agent that is natural for bleaching. Because of that, it will take the yellow right out. Your nails will be beautiful and shiny as a result.

9. Baking soda can help smelly shoes

If you wear your shoes without socks and have sweaty feet, you can start to smell… and your shoes will start to, as well. If you put baking soda in your shoes, it kills the lingering bacteria and eliminates the odor.

Peppermint oil does the trick here, also. By adding just a couple of drops to shoes, you will notice a much better smell, which lasts for a long time. A tip to remember, however, is not to use too much peppermint oil. It can quickly get sticky.

10. De-pilling your favorite sweater

Sweaters are great garments to toss on during the fall and winter when you’re feeling a bit chilly. With that being said, sweaters can go from cute to embarrassing over time as the fabric starts to build up and create pills. They make expensive items to deal with this, but there’s an easy way to remove pills without spending a lot of money.
