Oxlade-Chamberlain was once highly appreciated.

Sanogo only scored one goal for the Gunners, but he achieved much success in Toulouse in three seasons. After a not-so-smooth time with Huddersfield Town, this striker spent about 20 months ‘unemployed’. before being recruited by Armenia Urartu last year. In 13 appearances for his new club, he scored five goals.

Hector Bellerin

The Spanish full-back spent 11 years with Arsenal. When Mikel Arteta came as head coach, Bellerin had to leave, when Ben White was recruited by the Gunners. After spending short periods playing for Barcelona and Sporting, Bellerin now plays for Real Betis, a team that has been playing very well under Manuel Pellegrini recently.

Ryo Miyaichi

After leaving Arsenal in 2015, the Japanese winger spent six years with German second-tier club FC St. Pauli. He has now returned to his hometown and is playing for J1 League team, Yokohama F. Marinos. Miyaichi has missed more than 170 matches due to various injuries since leaving Arsenal, but is now in his prime.

Chuba Akpom is in good form.

Akpom spent most of his time at Arsenal on loan, but he made 12 appearances with the Gunners before moving to Greece in 2018. The 28-year-old has enjoyed his most prolific season yet. in the 2023-24 season with Championship side Middlesbrough as he scored 28 goals for Michael Carrick’s side. After that successful campaign, he moved to Ajax. The Dutch club has not been in the best form this season, but Akpom has scored 9 goals in 20 appearances.

Thomas Eisfeld

Arsene Wenger once compared Eisfeld to Robert Pires, but the German attacking midfielder only left disappointment. Eisfeld spent most of his career in the German second division with Bochum. Now, at the age of 30, he has to play for Rot-Weiss Essen.

Gideon Zelalem

The German midfielder only played a handful of minutes at Arsenal, then had to pack up and leave. Zelalem spent four years in MLS but struggled to get regular playing time at Sporting Kansas City and then New York City FC. After spending time in the US, the 26-year-old returned to Europe to play for Dutch second division team Den Bosch.

Serge Gnabry

Gnabry is the most successful on this list. It’s a shame that Arsenal couldn’t exploit his full potential. After a loan period at West Brom, Gnabry returned to Germany and had brilliant performances. During 6 and a half seasons with Bayern Munich, he won 13 titles and scored many goals and assists.

Jon Toral

The Spanish player left Barca for Arsenal in 2011 as a 16-year-old player. Toral’s skill is undeniable, but injuries have hindered his progress. Currently, the 28-year-old player is playing for OFI in the Greek second division
